Casterton Memorial Hospital held their 108th Annual Meeting on Thursday 27th October with over 80 persons in attendance to witness proceedings.

Proceedings included presentations of 108th Annual Report for 2015/16 including Presidents report presented very aptly by Board of Management President Mr Graham Sheppard, Financial report presented by Mr Owen Stephens, Chief Executive Officer and tabling of the CMH Victorian Quality Account Report for 2015/16.

The Annual meeting also had Mr Greg Burgoyne CEO of the Glenelg Shire as guest speaker talking about the Green Triangle Freight Action Plan and the work being done in trying to have our roads fixed.  A video was also played as part of the campaign in alerting Ministers and Government to the extremely poor state of our roads.

Mr Burgoyne was thanked for his timely and informative presentation to the meeting.

The meeting had staff service presentations from Nurse Graduates to a 30 year service Award to Mrs Judy Matthews, Registered Nurse Division One. The Board also conveyed its highest recognition for Service by way of Life Governorship to Dr Tim Halloran for his 30+ years’ service to the Board of Management. Well done to all service recognition recipients.
