History
Colac Area Health came into being on 1 July 1995 with the amalgamation of Colac District Hospital, Colac Area Community Health and Colac Housing and Financial Counselling Services. One of the major objectives of the amalgamation was to improve the planning, co-operation, quality and continuity of care to benefit those we serve.
Our staff play an important part in assisting our efforts to provide high quality integrated health and community services which are accessible, responsive and accountable to individual and community needs, as this is the Mission of our Service.
The Service has endorsed Corporate Values that include Client Focus, Employee Focus, Community Focus and Management and Leadership.
