The new facility, which was opened on October 4th 2005, features 5 consulting rooms, large waiting area, central treatment room, car parking and easy access for patients.
The Timboon Clinic is a teaching practice and employs a GP registrar on a full time basis and takes undergraduate students on a regular basis. Three associates and a GP registrar are supported by reception staff, a Practice Manager and a fully qualified Practice Nurse.
The clinic is fully equipped including a Spirometer and Ultrasound Machine. The majority of blood tests are taken within the clinic and Pathology is collected from Timboon 3 times a day. The clinic has a fully computerized medical record and accounting record system.

All GP’s liaise very closely with the nurses who staff the hospital. The hospital has a fully equipped operating theatre and radiology facilities. 70-80 babies are born per annum. There are 3 visiting specialists, a gynaecologist, general surgeon and a physician who visit on a fortnightly basis. There is a weekly routine x-ray service and all urgent extremity x-rays are performed by the local practitioners.
There is an ambulance within Timboon manned by volunteer ambulance officers plus paramedic backup from surrounding towns. The major referral centre is Warrnambool.
