Timboon & District Healthcare Service is a fully accredited health service situated in the attractive rural township of Timboon in southwest Victoria, 10 minutes from the Shipwreck coast and 45 minutes from the regional centre of Warrnambool.
Our Rural Health Service
- We deliver acute care, maternity services, emergency, residential & community aged care, allied health, community health, planned activity groups, district nursing, palliative care, health promotion and youth services throughout the Timboon & Cobden districts.
- We work closely with regional and specialised health services to extend the scope of services available.
- The Healthcare Service and Medical Clinic work in close cooperation in the delivery of services and are supported by visiting specialists and regional allied health staff.
- We are committed to continuously improving our Service in terms of the scope and quality of health service provision.
- Both the Healthcare Service and the Medical Clinic are supported in Information Technology through a regional broadband network, with the hospital and medical clinic linked to assist with patient care.
