Welcome to the Department of Human Services Multicultural Strategy Online demonstation site
Making the Connection’ consists of a series of dramatised scenes that present an insight into how best to work with interpreters in a variety of work situations. Supporting information and focus exercises/questions encourage discussion of the main points raised in each scene.

| Pressure Ulcer Basics
The Victorian Quality Council (VQC) is an expert strategic advisory group appointed by the Minister for Health to lead the safety and quality agenda for Victorian health services. The prevention and management of pressure ulcers (PU) is an internationally recognised issue in healthcare. The VQC has developed a number of strategies to improve patient outcomes in this area by conducting state-wide PU point prevalence surveys, developing information sheets for patients, and developing an education package.
This Pressure Ulcer Basics course has been developed for use by all clinical staff. It is hoped that the knowledge gained will assist staff in the provision of safe, quality care.
