On March 24 2013, Portland District Health will be holding our Inaugural Golf Day & Dinner, and it is planned to make this an annual event.

The Portland District Health Golf Day will be held to raise funds to purchase equipment for the Emergency Department. The funds raised from the Golf Day will assist with the purchase of life saving equipment needed for the effective running of Portland’s Emergency Department (ED). Our hospital ED saw 9000 patients in 2012 and is literally a life line to our community.

Portland District Health respects and nurtures human life by dedicated attention to excellence in healthcare for the whole community, and we endeavour to deliver these services with compassion, respect and equity.

In 2011 Portland District Health held the Reflections Ball which raised over $10,000 towards the development of a reflections room, this year the target is $20,000.

PDH has secured the services of Rodney Hogg, former Victorian and Australian fast bowler, to play on the day as well as be our After Dinner Guest Speaker. This coupled with our offering of a $100,000 Hole-In-One, Longest Drive and Nearest to the Pin competitions plus various other on-course activities, as well as Silent Auctions, Raffle and Lucky Door Prizes will create an exciting participative day which PDH is hopeful will receive sound community support and be a great fundraising endeavour.

  • Rally self-drive experience (reserve $500)
  • Jack Nicklaus signed and framed photo piece (reserve $700)

  • Signed Carlton Football Jumper
  • 4 boxes Pierrepoint Pinot Gris

Golf only tickets are $40 (includes entry into closest to the pin, and longest drive competition, sausage sizzle, and golf competition)

Dinner tickets $50 (includes Nibbles, Carvery Buffet & dessert)

Tickets for both golf & dinner together are $80
