Portland District Health is bringing Christmas cheer to the community this year.
For the first time the hospital hosted a K-mart wishing tree  which staff and community donated over 90 gifts for locals in need.  These gifts were distributed to the Salavation Army on Monday 16 December.

The wishing tree was organised by PDH human resources business trainee Emily Hayes.

The tree was set up at the main hospital reception area to allow easy access for gifts to be dropped off.

This is a great cause which can help make this Christmas a joyous one for everyone.

PDH plan to participate in this again next year following the great support of the local community and PDH staff.
