PDH Calls For Equipment Return

Portland District Health has declared an amnesty on the return of borrowed equipment.

The health service has appealed to local people to check if they have any items no longer required for treatment or rehabilitation.

These mostly include walking frames, crutches, shower stools, over toilet frames and other mobility aids.

Director of Primary and Community Health, Fiona Heenan, said people had most likely forgotten about the items but the non-return of items was causing problems with supplies.

If you have any equipment belonging to Portland District Health which you no longer require, we ask that you return it as soon as possible, Ms Heenan said.

There are no fines and no questions; just our thanks for giving access to other people who currently need these items, she said.

For further information or assistance with collection of equipment, please contact Portland District Health Consulting Suite, PH: 5522 1410.
