Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels deliver meals to clients who are sick, elderly or just unable to cater for themselves.

All clients reveive a hot meal which consists of meat and three vegies, they can also have cold meat and salad, and also get a sweet and fruit and a soup if requested.

Meals on wheels is a home and community care (HACC) service, a joint Commonwealth and State/Territory program providing funding and assistance for Australians in need.

All meals are delivered by Portland District Health Volunteers.

The service assists clients to successfully continue living in their own home.
