Lung Cancer Awareness Month

Approximately 11,000 people in Australia are diagnosed with Lung Cancer each year and it is the leading cause of death. In the BSW region, there were 188 people diagnosed in 2015. 56% were male, and 44% were female.

Cancer Australia aims to raise community awareness of Lung Cancer, as well as the signs and symptoms of the disease, which can often be vague and mimic those of other conditions.
